Lynx, Goldwater, Watson and Willow Lakes

Two lakes, the Willow and Watson, are surrounded by a rugged rocky terrain, while thick pine trees encircle the Lynx and Goldwater Lakes. Lynx and Watson Lake provide camping grounds which are first come first serve and have varying hours of availability. All four lakes are open to boaters and fishing.

Many visitors enjoy sitting on the granite rocks and taking in the wondrous scenery of both Watson and Willow Lake. Watson Lake is also a popular spot for equestrians due to the 5 mile trail that loops around the lake. There are over a hundred varieties of bird species in these Audubon endorsed areas for bird-watching.

Lynx and Goldwater Lake provide a very different experience, away from the heat of the desert, Lynx Lake sits in the high country that is home to the Prescott Forest. At an elevation of 5,500 feet the 55-acre, Lynx Lake is surrounded by Tall pine trees that shield it from the scorching sun, providing a cooler outdoor experience.
